If Star events are not what you are looking for, you can compete in LEO's (Leadership Enhancement Opportunities). You study a certain area and then take a test and based on how you do you will receive either a gold, silver, or bronze certificate. The areas you can test over are:

Creed, Mission, & Purpose
Culinary Arts
Etiquette
Hospitality
Interior Design
Job Interview
Parliamentary Procedure

DUES!!!!

$16.00 Due by October 2nd.
If we don't have enough members pay dues by October 23rd we will not have FCCLA this year.

Important Dates


October 2nd - Dues paid to Mrs. Kellar is you plan to participate in any competitive events.
Nov 1st- Affiliation Deadline
Nov. 16th - Selection of teams to compete in STAR Events.
Dec. 1st- Star Event Deadline
Feb 5-6 - Regional Competition @ Granbury
April 8-10 - State Competition @ Dallas
July 4-8 - National Competition @ Chicago

If you plan to compete in a Star Event you need to let me know by October 1st. If there are more people who want to compete than we have room for we will have a competition and choose the top groups. The more we have enrolled the more teams we can take to compete!!! We will select teams the week of Nov. 16th. If you have questions please stop by or email me.
